We are proud to announce that Harold Leidner Landscape Architects has received two Bronze Awards in the Water/Fire Features category at the prestigious 2025 Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA) International Awards of Excellence.
These awards celebrate the most exceptional and innovative pool, spa, and water feature designs from across the globe. This year saw a 22% increase in submissions, the highest since 2017, making the recognition even more meaningful. Our winning entries were selected by an elite panel of judges for their design innovation, craftsmanship, and seamless integration into the surrounding landscape.

This formal fountain serves as a dramatic focal point at the home’s entry, blending elegance with architectural harmony. At the center, hand-carved stone lions anchor the design, with classic detailing complementing the home’s style and creating an unforgettable first impression.
International Bronze Award for Water Features design in Frisco
Thoughtfully designed to echo the homeowners’ countless travels to their favorite hacienda-style resorts, the soft acoustics of cascading water create a serene, welcoming ambiance. Drawing from the timeless elegance of Spanish Colonial architecture, the design blends traditional forms with custom-colored tile accents, reflecting both personal memories and refined taste. This entire project was met with a commitment to excellence and a guiding belief that every landscape should be a reflection of not only the home, but the homeowners themselves.
Lighting adds a dramatic touch to this custom stone and tile fountain, creating visual interest that invites you in and welcomes guest with an eye-catching statement, saying “You’ve Arrived”.
